Dr. Christopher McGinnis is pleased to announce that
his 2012-2013 postdoctoral residents, Dr. Anhthony Nguyen
("new-WIN") and Dr. Susanne Long, have each met all requirements
for independent licensure in psychology, and extends heartfelt
congratulations! They have worked very, very hard to get to where
they now are.

Dr. Anhthony Nguyen has accepted an independent position
with Associates in Family
Psychology in Fort Myers
and will work alongside some fantastic clinicians including Drs.
Cori Calkins, Amy Mulholland, Shari Chrovian, Eric Howard, Michael
Ghali, and Leticia Lopes. Dr. Nguyen plans to carry on the mission
of the McGinnis Psychology Group by continuing to offer common
sense, but empirically supported, approaches to evaluating and
solving common yet nagging problems of childhood and adulthood. He

Director of Boys Town South Florida's new Behavioral Health Clinic

established the telehealth office of the McGinnis Psychology Group
based in Jupiter, Florida. All patient records from the Fort Myers
site of the McGinnis Psychology Group are securely housed here. Established
Southwest Florida patients of Dr. McGinnis are welcomed to
continue to obtain consultation from him via electronic means
(e.g., telephone, email, FaceTime/Skype). Newly referred patients
will be screened to ensure that telehealth is a suitable and
ethical mode of consultation, with referrals to local
practitioners made as indicated.
